What is the difference between Microblading, Nano Brows and Powder Brows?
Microblading is a popular technique for achieving fuller eyebrows, but it may not be suitable for everyone. It can cause scarring and may not look natural on certain skin types. That's why I offer a better alternative called Nano hairstrokes, which creates a more natural and subtle look.

Nano hairstrokes is a technique that is similar to microblading, but with less scarring. It uses a machine to inject pigment into the skin, resulting in natural-looking hairstrokes that hold better on all skin types and age better in the skin. It's also less painful than microblading and is suitable for even the most sensitive skin types.

Powder brows or ombré brows are a great option for those who want a fuller and more sculpted look. This technique is done with a machine and is gentle on the skin. It's similar to applying powder to your brows for a more defined effect.

How long does it last?

Our Powder and Nano brows can last for up to a year or even longer, depending on your age, lifestyle, and skin type. However, it's important to note that certain factors such as sun exposure, exercise, skin treatments that cause cell regeneration, and retinol products can cause the pigment to fade prematurely. It's worth mentioning that pigment is not permanent in the skin, and our bodies will naturally break it down over time. To keep your PMU brows looking fresh, we recommend visiting us annually for a color refresher.

How long is the appointment?

Appointments can take up to 2.5hrs. Touch ups are 1.5hrs.

Is it painful?

Local and secondary numbing is used to numb the area and is extremely comfortable.

How many sessions is required?

Generally 2 sessions is required to complete process.

How will my brows look post procedure?

After your brow procedure, it's normal for your brows to look dark for the next week. Don't worry if they seem patchy uneven during the healing process. After 7 days, they will start to flake and the pigment will settle. It takes about 3 weeks for the color fully settle, so be patient and trust the process. Remember, touch-ups can only take place after 6 weeks.

Can you work over old permanent make up?

It all depends on how much the permanent make up has faded. If it is extremely dark and there is alot of pigment in the skin, then laser removal will be suggested. This is something we offer in studio and is very effective. Its always better to start fresh with minimal pigment in the skin in order for us to achieve the most natural look

Which procedure is best suited for mature skin?

Nano hairstrokes and powder brow might be the perfect solution ,  especially if you have mature skin . These techniques are known for being gentle the skin and not causing scarring or trauma.

What can cause your pigment to lighten over time?

Sun exposure, intense skin treatments like microneedling/Peels/laser or anything that will cause your skin cells to regenerate. Your lifestyle and hormones can also effect your pigment in the skin in a sense that it could lighten quicker over time. Lighter pigments also fade quicker than darker pigments.

Will the pigment change color over time?

It is possible for pigment to change color over time due to hormones or hormone medication or strong meds, but this is rare and can be easily rectified if the color goes ashy. However, the pigments we use are top of the range and meant to fade out easily without leaving any discoloration. To keep the color looking fresh, an annual touch-up is required as the pigment will become dull over the next year.
